Location: Remote/Home based (occasional travel across the UK and to Wandsworth office)
Hours: Full or part-time, up to 35 hours/week (specify preference)
Salary: £25,000–£29,000 pro-rata, dependent on experience

🔹 About the Role

Are you passionate about helping people transform their lives? Back Up is looking for a Courses Coordinator to support the development and delivery of its life-changing courses for people affected by spinal cord injuries.

You’ll play a key role in the administration, logistics, and smooth delivery of courses that increase confidence and independence. Working with volunteers, partners, and participants, you’ll ensure every course runs efficiently and provides the best possible experience.

This role suits someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to make a real impact. You’ll be confident planning, coordinating, and seeing projects through to completion, either independently or as part of a wider team.

Lived experience is an advantage, but most important is your commitment to improving the lives of those affected by spinal cord injury.


🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage course logistics, ensuring smooth delivery and full attendance

  • Liaise with participants, volunteers, and partners to provide support and guidance

  • Maintain accurate course records and reporting

  • Support the Services Team in delivering impactful, participant-led courses

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in course processes and participant experience
