π· Salary: Β£30,000βΒ£35,000 FTE (depending on experience)
π Hours: 4β5 days per week (part-time or full-time considered)
π Contract: Permanent (UK-based) / Consultancy (outside UK)

π― What This Role Really Is
This is not a basic admin job.
Itβs a high-responsibility programme support role inside an international NGO β blending:

Project administration
-
Donor reporting support
-
Budget tracking
-
Meeting coordination
-
Monitoring & evaluation support
-
Some travel
-
Cross-cultural collaboration
Youβll be supporting Programme Coordinators and acting as a key operational backbone.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities

Tracking programme deliverables and deadlines
-
Organising meetings, drafting agendas, taking minutes
-
Supporting donor reporting (narrative + financial)
-
Tracking grant budgets and expenditure
-
Assisting with grant applications
-
Supporting international events and workshops
-
Contributing to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)
-
Occasionally travelling internationally (1β2 weeks, 2β3 times/year max)
β Essential Profile
Youβll need:
-
Experience in the not-for-profit sector, ideally international
-
Experience with project administration & grant reporting

Budget tracking experience
-
Strong written English (clear, concise, analytical)

Excellent organisation and time management
-
Ability to work across cultures
-
Strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills
-
Availability for occasional overseas travel

Experience working with Indigenous Peoples or global south partners

French, Spanish, or Bahasa Indonesia

Understanding of human rights / environmental governance

Remote working in multicultural settings
