  • Environmental and climate justice

  • Business and human rights

  • Supporting Indigenous-led change

This is serious, values-driven international development work.

🎯 What This Role Really Is

This is not a basic admin job.

It’s a high-responsibility programme support role inside an international NGO β€” blending:

  • Project administration

  • Donor reporting support

  • Budget tracking

  • Meeting coordination

  • Monitoring & evaluation support

  • Some travel

  • Cross-cultural collaboration

You’ll be supporting Programme Coordinators and acting as a key operational backbone.

πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking programme deliverables and deadlines

  • Organising meetings, drafting agendas, taking minutes

  • Supporting donor reporting (narrative + financial)

  • Tracking grant budgets and expenditure

  • Assisting with grant applications

  • Supporting international events and workshops

  • Contributing to Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)

  • Occasionally travelling internationally (1–2 weeks, 2–3 times/year max)

βœ… Essential Profile

You’ll need:

  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector, ideally international

  • Experience with project administration & grant reporting

  • Budget tracking experience

  • Strong written English (clear, concise, analytical)

  • Excellent organisation and time management

  • Ability to work across cultures

  • Strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills

  • Availability for occasional overseas travel

⭐ Strong Advantages

  • Experience working with Indigenous Peoples or global south partners

  • French, Spanish, or Bahasa Indonesia

  • Understanding of human rights / environmental governance

  • Remote working in multicultural settings

πŸ’‘ Who This Would Suit

  • Someone with 3–6 years’ NGO/programme support experience

  • A detail-oriented, mission-driven operator

  • Someone who enjoys coordination more than frontline campaigning

  • A calm, capable multi-tasker who can manage deadlines across time zones

If you struggle with fast-paced, multi-threaded work β€” this won’t be comfortable.
