Solutions for Accounting are a leading Sage Business Partner, supporting 400+ Sage 200 and Sage Intacct clients across the UK. They specialise in ERP and financial accounting solutions for mid-market businesses and are known for strong customer service and long-term client relationships.

This role sits between account management, customer success, and consultative sales.


🔍 What this role is really about

You’ll manage and grow relationships with existing Sage clients, making sure the software and services they use continue to deliver real business value. Alongside retention, you’ll also be expected to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

This is not a passive support role — it’s commercially focused, relationship-led, and suits someone confident working with senior stakeholders in a B2B environment.


📌 Key responsibilities

  • Manage key Sage 200 & Sage Intacct client relationships

  • Ensure high retention through proactive account management

  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and revenue pipelines

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, consultants and product teams

  • Attend monthly sales meetings

  • Travel regularly to client sites (mainly Midlands-based)

  • Experienced Account Managers / Customer Success Managers

  • Confident managing B2B client relationships

  • Commercially minded with a revenue-growth focus

  • Comfortable working with finance, ERP or process-led products

  • Strong communicators with polished presentation skills

  • Self-motivated and trusted to manage your own diary

Experience with Sage ERP is a big plus, but not essential if you’ve worked in similar B2B tech or finance environments.


🚗 Important to know (read this carefully)

  • This role is not fully remote

  • Regular client travel is required

  • Occasional office attendance in Derby, Sutton Coldfield or Cramlington

  • Full UK driving licence is essential

If you’re looking for a 100% home-based role with no travel, this won’t be the right fit.
